Using our website
By using this website, you agree to these terms. Please don't use the site in a way that could damage it, restrict anyone else's use of it, or that's unlawful.
Our products
All the ceramics sold by White Oak Studio are individually handmade.
The capacity of a mug is measured when full to the rim. Everyone will use a mug in their own way, so this allows an easier comparison for everyone! Everything else is measured with a ruler to give you a guide and may vary slightly as some forms are curved or undulating.
Because each piece is thrown, formed, decorated and glazed by hand, minor variations in size, colour, glaze finish and texture including occasional fingerprints are normal and are part of the charm of buying a handcrafted item, not a fault. We take care to photograph and describe products accurately, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
Intellectual property
All designs, photographs and content on this website and our social channels and emails belong to White Oak Studio and may not be copied, reproduced or reused without our permission.
Placing an order
When you order, you'll be guided through checkout using Square, our secure payment provider. Your order is a confirmed sale only once we've accepted it, for example, by sending an order confirmation email. We may occasionally need to decline or cancel an order, for instance if an item turns out to be unavailable or damaged, in which case we'll let you know and refund you in full.
Prices
All prices are shown in GBP (£). We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout — see our delivery and returns information.
Your right to cancel
As a UK consumer buying online, you have a legal right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving your goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, without giving a reason. See our delivery and returns information for how this works, including exceptions for personalised or made-to-order pieces.
